The best time to visit New Orleans is in the spring, from February to May, when the weather is warm and comfortable and the city buzzes with iconic events like Mardi Gras and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Fall, from September to November, is also a great time for milder temperatures and fewer crowds, making it ideal for those looking to explore the city at a more relaxed pace.

New Orleans cuisine has a delicious blend of Cajun and Creole flavours that reflect the city's vibrant cultural heritage, with iconic dishes like gumbo - a hearty stew filled with rich spices, vegetables and meats, jambalaya, a flavourful rice dish with shrimp, sausage and chicken and beignets, delightful sugar-dusted pastries that are a perfect sweet treat.

Renowned for its jazz music and infamous Mardi Gras celebrations, New Orleans is a culturally diverse city that’s really worth a visit. From the French Quarter’s 17th-century European-style squares to ghost tours and plates of steaming gumbo, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.

You clients could choose to head out of the city to explore ‘the bayou’ – the swamplands of the Mississippi Delta – and take in the serene waters while enjoying a paddle steamboat tour. Then, head back to the city to enjoy an evening of sipping rum or bourbon and listening to live jazz on Bourbon Street.
