Lime World upgrade Flights booking system
On Tuesday 25 July, Lime World rolled out their next generation Flights booking platform; the online system used by the UK travel trade to book their British Airways Inclusive Tour, Seat Only and Published fares.
The system release is the first stage in an ongoing evolution plan to adopt pioneering New Distribution Capability, which will see richer features and functionality released to users over the coming weeks and months.
Matt Darlington, Head of Commercial at Lime World says: "[Our] platform upgrade lays the foundation to integrate NDC functionality over the next few months which, along with a continuous improvement programme, promises our customers additional enhancements and market-leading technology".
From Tuesday 25 July, tour operators logging in to request or ticket their flights will see initial enhancements to their user experience, such as quick links available in the top right of their screen for special offers, training resources, airline information and online chat. These features are hosted on a sharp new interface which sits on top of the next gen platform - which was critical in Lime's capacity to adopt NDC.
Information will be communicated when the next enhancements to the system are due to launch.
