Ticketing certain fare types: what to check for

Dear Travel Partner,
Due to British Airways releasing a number of different offers throughout the year, when coming to ticket a booking, you may find the fare has increased from the cost you held it at. Here’s a reminder as to what fare types may change, and what should not.
Inclusive Tour (IT) fares are backdated to creation date, which means the fare displayed when holding or amending (prior to ticketing) a booking should still apply - unlike Seat Only or Published fares, which will refresh at time of ticketing.
If you do find the Inclusive Tour fare is different when you come to ticket your booking, please contact our Customer Support team who will manually ticket the booking at the correct fare.
It is the agent’s responsibility to ensure all fares are checked prior to ticketing. If IT bookings are ticketed at a higher cost than the original fare, we can apply for a refund of the difference with British Airways but unfortunately a refund is not guaranteed.
Kind Regards,
