For those working in the travel industry, a huge perk of the job is getting to experience amazing places around the world and what better way to remember your trips than by capturing the perfect photo along the way?

Thanks to our Kudos monthly incentive scheme’s Instagram theme this month, we want to give you a helping hand to create the best possible travel pictures. So, without further ado, let’s jump straight in and discover some of the world’s most photogenic destinations.

Agra, India (Fly to DEL)

Delhi is famed for being a city of two halves. From elaborately decorated temples to colonial skyscrapers in the capital of New Delhi, it’s possible to spend days capturing the vibrant colours and detailed architecture here. But to see India’s most famous monument, it’s time to take the train to Agra.

Millions of tourists flock to the Taj Mahal, a mausoleum constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan that sits on the banks of the holy Yamuna River. The symmetrical structure and intricately decorated plates of marble make it a must-visit hotspot on any visit to India.

New York, USA (Fly to JFK, EWR)

With so many iconic sights to see, it’s no surprise that New York is frequently named the most Instagrammed city in the world*. The hustle and bustle of Times Square, the view of the twinkling skyscraper lights behind Brooklyn Bridge and, of course, the Statue of Liberty with her arm raised in welcome are just a few of the most popular places to snap away in the city.

Escape from the beep of horns with a wander in Central Park to add a bit of greenery into your photos or style it out in front of the beautiful backdrop of the Upper East Side’s townhouses. But don’t forget to capture the details: the Big Apple’s unbelievable foodie scene is made for capturing the smaller moments on Instagram stories. Now, where do we find the red velvet croissants?

Nassau, Bahamas (Fly to NAS)

Because who wouldn’t want to experience these beautifully clear, shimmering waters and powder white beaches for themselves? This tropical archipelago is impressively stunning and should you get tired of sipping a cocktail on the sand, Nassau is impressively metropolitan and full of culture.

One of the most famous spots in the Bahamas is Exuma, a collection of over 365 small islands. As well as taking in their heavenly good looks, many travellers stop off to visit the family of pigs that live on one of the beaches. While this is undoubtedly a photo hotspot, be careful to interact with the animals responsibly to help preserve the island for the future.

Paris, France (Fly to CDG, ORY)

As one of the most stylish cities in the world, the French capital is one of the biggest tourist destinations in Europe for good reason. From the iconic Eiffel Tower that consistently splits opinion to the beautifully symmetrical boulevards visible from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, you won’t struggle to capture a great snap here.

The city’s identity changes throughout the seasons: cherry blossoms compliment the pale building facades in spring and when the weather turns colder, parks turn golden from the falling leaves. We just know that your Instagram feed will be looking mighty fine after a break in the city of love.

Moscow, Russia (Fly to DME, SVO)

With a population of 10 million people, 2017’s second most Instagrammed city has a reputation for awesome architecture and Soviet-era history. But in spite of this, travellers from all over the world have flocked to discover the impressive sights of the capital city, visit hip galleries and discover the under-the-radar café culture.

Arguably the most famous monument of them all is Saint Basil’s Cathedral with its colourful, rounded domes that rise above the city. Named a World Heritage Site in 1990, the cathedral is over 450 years old so you don’t want to miss the photo opportunity here, come rain or shine.
