After UK lockdown laws come to an end on 19 July 2021, British Airways has confirmed that they will continue requiring passengers to wear a mask at each stage of their journey, including in the airport terminal and throughout the duration of their flight.

Government guidance will remain to wear a mask in enclosed public spaces, including public transport.

While British Airways policies are under constant review, the safety of their customers and colleagues is always top priority, and therefore the airline are not planning any immediate changes to their mask policy. Read more > 

London Heathrow airport have also confirmed they will still require passengers to continue wearing a face covering beyond 19 July "to protect passengers and colleagues and rebuild confidence in travel".

London Gatwick and London City airports also require all passengers to wear a face covering whilst in the airport terminals and recommend to travel with enough face coverings for the duration of your journey.
