"Flying with British Airways was a breeze as always, and even though the flight to NYC was packed, they were great. Plus, our bags popped out super quickly at JFK, which is always a win!
We decided to stay right in the middle of it all at The Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square, and honestly, it was spot on! The rooms were surprisingly big (a major bonus in NYC!), and their rooftop bar? Seriously amazing views – we spent a fair bit of time up there soaking it all in! 🍸
Food-wise, you HAVE to try the porterhouse at Gallagher's Steakhouse – seriously melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness! And for a more casual bite, the bagels from Black Seed Bagels in Chelsea Market were just perfect for a sunny morning. 🤤
We did so much exploring! Walking the High Line was lovely, chilling out in Central Park in the sunshine was just the best, and we had such a good laugh and a fantastic dinner at Zuma. Even when it rained a bit, wandering through Brooklyn and soaking up the vibes in Soho was still fun.
Our last day? Well, it wouldn't be a city break without a bit of shopping, right? And we definitely couldn't leave without a proper waffle breakfast – so good!
Getting back was super smooth thanks to fab service from British Airways, and the Purple Meet & Greet at Heathrow. Super efficient – no waiting around at all. Honestly, if you get the chance to go to New York when the sun's out, grab it with both hands – it just makes everything even better! Just be prepared to walk your socks off – we definitely earned our comfy plane seats on the way home!
