The British Airways Sustainability Report for 2022 has now been released. The airline are delighted by their achievements, especially considering the challenges the aviation industry faced when emerging from the pandemic.
Here are some of British Airways key achievements in 2022:
- Received their first supply of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) into their operation
- Launch of the new CO2llaborate platform for customers
- Investment in future SAF supply
- Reduced waste and single-use plastics onboard
- Launch of BA Better World Community Fund - total of £2,015,362 was raised and supported 110 organisations throughout the year
- Hit a Flying Start milestone (charity partnership with Comic Relief)
- Relaunched the reverse mentoring programme, wellbeing roadshows and menopause support programme
