British Airways has announced the expansion of its codeshare partnership with Airlink to now include Botswana. This marks the fifth country where British Airways collaborates with Airlink, adding to the existing agreements in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
This extended partnership will allow British Airways customers to travel seamlessly from London Heathrow (LHR) to three key destinations in Botswana—Gaborone, Maun, and Kasane—via Johannesburg, all on a single ticket. Airlink operates daily flights between Johannesburg and these Botswana destinations, ensuring convenient connectivity for travellers.
A major benefit of this expanded partnership is that British Airways Executive Club Members will be able to earn Avios and Tier Points when flying on an Airlink-operated flight under the British Airways codeshare agreement.
Codeshare tickets are now available for booking, with travel commencing from 10 February 2025.
