British Airways has announced a new seasonal service from London Gatwick to Colombo, Sri Lanka, launching on 23 October 2026.
Operating three times weekly throughout the winter season, the route gives customers direct access to Colombo, the vibrant gateway to Sri Lanka and the perfect starting point for exploring the Indian Ocean island.
Whether clients are looking for a relaxing beach escape, an unforgettable wildlife experience or the chance to discover Sri Lanka’s vibrant culture and rich cuisine, the new service offers plenty of opportunities for a memorable winter getaway.
Customers travelling on the route will have a choice of three cabins – World Traveller (economy), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and Club World (business class).
