British Airways Showcase Event 2026

On Thursday 22 October, we returned to the iconic Concorde Conference Centre at Manchester Airport for our annual British Airways Showcase Event. Bringing together our tourist board partners, the British Airways team and industry colleagues, the evening was filled with networking, industry insights and memorable experiences.

With Concorde once again providing a spectacular backdrop, this year’s event offered guests the opportunity to connect with industry partners, discover new destinations and celebrate our ongoing partnerships with British Airways and the wider travel industry.

The afternoon began with guests exploring the exhibition, where they had the opportunity to meet with our tourist board partners, airline representatives and teams from across Lime. There was plenty to discover, from new destinations and travel inspiration to the latest updates.

We were delighted to welcome a fantastic range of tourism partners, representing destinations across the globe, including the Bahamas, Arizona, Bermuda, Portland, Guernsey, New Orleans, Austin, St Lucia, Houston, Fredericksburg, Croatia, Malta, Barbados, Costa Rica, Grenada, Sonoma County and Santa Monica.

Guests also had the opportunity to connect with representatives from Manchester Airport, British Airways, American Airlines, and Aer Lingus, making the exhibition a valuable opportunity to strengthen industry relationships and discover new opportunities.

Alongside the exhibition, guests enjoyed guided tours of Concorde, stepping aboard one of aviation's most iconic aircraft and learning more about its remarkable history.

Following the exhibition and Concorde tours, guests came together for dinner and a series of presentations from Lime, British Airways and the Concorde team.

The talks provided an opportunity to share updates, celebrate aviation history and bring our guests together for an evening of conversation and industry insight.

An unforgettable keynote from Captain Les Brodie

One of the evening’s highlights was a keynote presentation from Captain Les Brodie, the last British Airways captain to fly Concorde for the airline.

Captain Brodie shared fascinating stories and insights from his time flying the iconic aircraft, giving guests a unique perspective on Concorde and its place in aviation history.

His presentation provided a memorable highlight to an evening celebrating the people, partnerships and experiences that make the travel industry so special.
