British Airways has unveiled new cabins across its First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins as part of a major investment in its customer experience.
The new interiors will debut on the first retrofitted Airbus A380, which is expected to enter service in the coming months. The programme will see more than 35,000 individual parts installed on each aircraft, including new seats, entertainment screens and redesigned galleys and stairways.
The refreshed A380 has been designed to improve comfort and consistency across the aircraft, with changes introduced in every cabin.
World Traveller customers will benefit from wider seats, larger entertainment screens and upgraded bedding, while World Traveller Plus will feature larger screens, privacy wings and new bedding and pillows.

Club World will receive an updated version of the airline’s Club Suite, with additional storage and improved functionality. The A380 will feature 106 Club Suite seats across the entire upper deck, creating British Airways’ largest business class cabin.

The new First suite remains the centrepiece of the transformation, offering greater privacy and a design inspired by a modern luxury hotel.
Customers travelling together will be able to open the divider between centre seats to create a shared space, while stowable tables allow for ‘buddy dining’.
The experience will also include a new First amenity kit created with British heritage brand Swaine, alongside Wildsmith skincare products.

Upgraded dining and service
British Airways is also introducing a refreshed First dining experience, including a new ‘From the Grill’ concept and a selection of Signature Mains.
A bespoke mini bar will be incorporated into the First suite, while the new dining service will feature contemporary stoneware, fine bone china and an updated beverage menu.

The airline is also introducing an updated First Service Specialist training programme, designed to provide a more personalised service and enable crew to respond to individual customer preferences.
Sean Doyle, Chairman and CEO of British Airways, said the airline had “completely reimagined the customer experience”, with the investment extending beyond the new First suite to include upgraded dining, amenities and service delivery.
The first completed A380 is expected to enter service in the coming months, marking the beginning of the wider retrofit programme.
The investment forms part of British Airways’ broader customer experience transformation, alongside its ongoing Heathrow lounge redevelopment programme.
