This week marked the 15th Anniversary of the Atlantic Joint Business, with American Airlines, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Finnair and Iberia, offering clients more choices, better fares and easier connections.
Over the past 15 years, weekly trans-Atlantic flights operated under the AJB have more than doubled, now exceeding 1,700 flights per week.
In 2025, AJB customers can explore nearly 500 destinations—a 45% increase compared to 2010. The network continues to grow, with new direct routes launching in 2026 to St. Louis, Monterrey, Raleigh-Durham, Budapest, and Prague.
Across all AJB carriers, travellers enjoy access to 120+ lounges, including the American Airlines + British Airways joint premium lounges at JFK Terminal 8.
