What are select and select pro fares?
Select and Select Pro are both refundable fare products, which give your customers the flexibility to cancel a flight and claim a full or partial refund should their travel plans changes. There are also no change fees payable to Select Pro bookings.
- Select: A refundable fare option that allows customers to claim a full refund (for a reasonable fee) if unable to travel. It includes free changes to the ticket and free seat selection 24 hours prior to departure. Exact baggage allowance depends on the cabin class.
- Select Pro: Provides greater flexibility with the ability to claim a full refund with zero refund fee. It also allows free changes to the ticket and, starting 19 December 2024, includes free seat selection at the time of booking. Exact baggage allowance depends on the cabin class.
Where will free seating be included?
Free seating will be available in all cabins for Select Pro fares, making your travel planning more convenient across various booking classes.
Will this apply to all bookings?
No, this enhancement is only valid for new bookings made on or after 19 December 2024. Existing bookings will not be eligible for free seating under this change.
Are these fares available for all sectors, including short-haul flights?
- Free seating will be offered in most long-haul markets.
