British Airways celebrates The King's Coronation

Customers travelling with British Airways on Saturday 6 May will be able to sit back, relax and watch the King’s Coronation live on board by connecting to the Wi-Fi portal for free. The live stream will begin at 7:15am and end at 02:45pm, with Eton Mess Coronation themed popcorn for customers to complement the live stream.


British Airways will serve coronation-themed desserts in all cabins on all flights from London Heathrow and London Gatwick to celebrate the special occasion. Such as, bespoke lemon and white chocolate coronation crown with fresh strawberries, the airline's first afternoon tea including a trio of royal desserts on flights from London Heathrow and coronation-themed Rhubarb and ginger crème brûlée and a royal carrot cake on flights from London Gatwick.


The airline will celebrate the King’s Coronation in their flagship lounges at London Heathrow and London Gatwick. Key areas of the lounges will be decorated in a patriotic style with bunting and Union Jack flags and coronation cakes will be served in all lounges.
