British Airways has announced a groundbreaking £7 billion transformation plan at its inaugural 'In the Skies' showcase event in London. This comprehensive plan includes over 600 modernisation initiatives aimed at revolutionising every aspect of the airline's operations.
Key highlights of the plan include the introduction of cutting-edge technology systems, AI, and machine learning to ensure punctual departures. Additionally, British Airways will create 350 new jobs at Heathrow and implement a bespoke Microsoft Connected Teams ground-to-air customer care solution.
Passengers can look forward to a new website and mobile app, offering enhanced functionality and seamless booking experiences. Onboard, free messaging services will be available to passengers, further enhancing connectivity.
